Friday Health Plans has grown incredibly quickly, which is a testament to the strength of our mission of delivering affordability, simplicity and outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, Friday has been unable to scale our financial infrastructure to match the pace of our growth and secure the additional capital required to run our business. As a result, in collaboration with the Oklahoma Insurance Department, we agree with the decision that it is necessary to wind down our Oklahoma business operations over time. While we are deeply disappointed, we believe this action is in the best interest of our members.
You should continue to treat Friday members through August 31 in accordance with your contract. Friday will continue to handle provider calls and process runout claims for some period of time, but we encourage you to submit claims timely. Internal Dispute Resolution Process
The Federal IDR process is available only for certain services, such as out-of-network emergency services, certain services provided by out-of-network providers at an in-network facility, or out-of-network air ambulance services. The Federal IDR process is also only available if a state All-Payer Model Agreement or specified state law does not apply; otherwise, the state Agreement or law applies. Sign up for the Friday Health Plans Provider Portal and submit your provider information for approved access.
