When is my premium payment due and how can I make a payment?
You will need to pay the following month’s premium by the 20th of the month before. You can make a payment through the automated phone system at 844-279-4335. Please have your invoice and method of payment handy—either credit card or bank account. Or you can also contact the Friday Care Crew. Once payment is processed, you can request a receipt at email@example.com.
When can I buy health insurance?
The annual open enrollment period starts on November 1. However, if you experience a “qualifying life event” at any time of year, you may be able to purchase health insurance. These events include getting married, divorced, moving, leaving a job, and more. You’ll need to provide documentation to prove your qualifying life event. For example, if you have a baby on July 2, you can enroll your child in your plan starting that day. Learn more about Qualifying Life Events and Special Enrollment Period details.
Do I qualify for a government subsidy?
You might be surprised to learn you do qualify for financial assistance with your monthly premiums. Individuals who earn less than about $51,040 annually qualify, as does a family of four earning less than about $104,800. Visit healthcare.gov.
Can I switch health plans during open enrollment?
Yes, open enrollment is the right time to switch from one health plan to another. To switch to Friday Health Plans from another health insurance company, you can enroll directly with us, your broker, or through healthcare.gov. Be sure to cancel your other plan as well.
If you want to stay with Friday but want to change your plan or your personal information has changed, visit your Friday Member Portal to make those changes, or healthcare.gov if you enrolled there originally. Or give us a call.
How can I get reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses?
To get reimbursed, please send a copy of your receipt and SuperBill (that you can request from your doctor) to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, date of birth, phone number, and email.
For breast pumps, you can submit a receipt and prescription to email@example.com with your name, date of birth, phone number, and email.
How do I change my personal contact information?
The Friday Catastrophic Plan is designed for folks under 30 years old who need the most basic of basics. It will be there for you in case of an accident or if you get really sick. You even get 3 free in-network primary care doctor visits at no cost when you’re feeling under the weather. Because this plan is focused on basic stuff, it has a pretty nice price tag!
If you don’t go to the doctor very often and just want basic coverage without breaking the bank, one of the Bronze Plans is likely perfect for you. Even though it has a lower price tag, you’ll get some handy perks, including free Teladoc visits when you want to see a doctor without leaving your living room. And the Bronze Plus also includes unlimited in-network primary care and mental health visits.
The Friday Silver Plan is great for you or the family members on your plan (read: crazy kids, clumsy spouse) if you see the doctor a few times a year for whatever life throws at you, with a lower deductible if anything big happens. And this plan has unlimited in-network free doctor visits, virtual doctor visits and mental health visits, and $0 generic drugs to let you live life to the fullest.
If you tend to give your insurance card a good workout, a Gold Plan may be the way to go. The Gold Plan has the highest monthly premium, but is well worth it for anyone who has their eye on the lowest deductible offering. And this plan has unlimited in-network free doctor visits, virtual doctor visits and mental health visits, plus $0 generic drugs to manage health issues while giving you peace of mind.
